How To Cut Glass Safely
In this short video I will walk you through the steps that I use to cut glass and mirrors for projects safely. This is a great way to reuse mirrors or glass that would otherwise been thrown away. All of the tools needed are linked below.
Safety First
Obviously this probably goes without saying that safety has to be a priority when cutting glass. Eye protection and gloves are a must, wearing long pants and shoes/boots is also recommended. I have had the glass shatter as I tried to snap it and shards of glass fall against my legs and feet.
This skill does take some practice but with the right tools and the right safety equipment anybody can be successful at this.
